As part of the growth of our R&D team, we are looking for an Embedded Security Researcher to contribute to advanced technology projects involving embedded systems, wireless communications, and the analysis of hardware and software components.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct vulnerability research and analysis on embedded systems and connected platforms;
  • Perform reverse engineering activities on software, firmware, and communication protocols;
  • Analyze, decode, and test wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi and BLE;
  • Participate in the identification, reproduction, and validation of security flaws;
  • Design and develop tools, scripts, or analysis methods to accelerate research activities;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand technical challenges and propose robust solutions;
  • Document research findings, methods used, and technical recommendations. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with 5 to 7 years of experience;
  • Experience in a role such as:
    • Vulnerability Researcher 
    • Reverse Engineer 
    • Security-oriented Embedded Software Developer 
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems and their hardware and software architecture (ARM64, MIPS);
  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication protocols;
  • Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android);
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux environments, firmware, and debugging tools;
  • Programming experience (C/C++, Python, etc.);
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Frida, etc.);
  • Knowledge of computer security applied to embedded systems is a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of cellular protocols (LTE, 5G) or software-defined radio systems (SDR) is an asset.
