Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary:   The Manufacturing Technician supports the production of medical devices by assembling components, following detailed work instructions, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This position is also expected to cross-train in other operational areas to support business needs and production continuity. 



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quality of work performed. Quality check as needed. 
  • Perform production of components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods. 
  • Perform duties that are outlined in the work instruction matrix as training is completed. 
  • Read and log daily performance. 
  • Understand non-conforming products, components, and equipment. 
  • Maintain compliance with established quality system requirements, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Crosstrain in additional operational functions, including Shipping & Receiving, and provide support as needed. 
  • Assist with material handling, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and receiving activities when assigned. 
  • Perform other duties assigned by manager.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of standard tools and equipment. 
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to follow direction.
  • Must be flexible in schedule and duties. 
  • Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and strong manual dexterity. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. 
  •  Willingness to be cross trained in other operational functions, including Shipping & Receiving.


 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Indoor Warehouse and Manufacturing area.
  • Exposure to raw materials, equipment, machinery and tools necessary to perform required 

tasks. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Standing 6-10 hours per shift. 
  • Handling raw materials, finished goods, and small components. 
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements. 
  • Lifting boxes, packages, and materials up to 50 lbs. 
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, and movement of product throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas.
