Location

  • Hybrid, UT: This is a hybrid role and open to candidates in Salt Lake City, UT or within commuting distance of our South Salt Lake City headquarters.

About the role:

PDQ is hiring a Senior Business Systems Administrator to help improve and scale our GTM systems, with Salesforce at the center. You’ll work across a connected technology stack to improve integrations, simplify automation, and make it easier for the business to market, acquire, and retain customers.

Our systems have grown through company growth and acquisitions. We’re investing in a more consistent architecture, better data, and more reliable processes across that environment. This role offers substantial hands-on ownership of that work.

You’ll partner with other system admins, Revops team members and business stakeholders, taking responsibility for delivering initiatives from discovery through rollout. Success means moving work forward independently, keeping stakeholders informed, and building solutions the team can understand and maintain.

How you might spend your day:

Owning GTM systems projects and deliver improvements

  • Taking ownership of systems initiatives: clarify requirements, plan the work, manage dependencies, test solutions, and drive delivery.
  • Proactively communicating progress, risks, blockers, and recommended solutions so stakeholders know where work stands.
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps to translate business needs into practical systems improvements.
  • Making sound tradeoffs across project work and production issues, and surface priority conflicts when they require a decision.

Building and improving Salesforce

  • Helping implement a redesigned Salesforce architecture spanning account hierarchies and the relationships among accounts, opportunities, contacts, and product data.
  • Configuring and maintain Salesforce objects, permissions, Flows, validation rules, reports, layouts and other platform capabilities.
  • Building partner selling processes in Salesforce, including integrations with partner relationship management tooling.
  • Refactoring existing automation to reduce complexity, improve reliability, and make future changes easier.

Connecting systems and troubleshooting across platforms

  • Improving Salesforce and HubSpot data synchronization, including configuring HubSpot to align with our Salesforce architecture and business processes.
  • Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations and workflows using Tray.ai, APIs, and platform-native tools.
  • Tracing issues across connected systems, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
  • Learning and support adjacent revenue systems as projects require. Our stack includes Nue for quote-to-cash, Zendesk, Mixmax, Fathom, RevenueHero, and LeanData.

Making the environment easier to operate

  • Addressing technical debt, data quality issues, and recurring support problems alongside planned improvements.
  • Applying testing, documentation, and change management practices that support reliable releases.
  • Maintaining useful documentation of configurations, integrations, and operating procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify the stack and reduce manual work.

We're looking for people who have:

Must have:

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and improving Salesforce in a complex business environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, Flow, permissions and access, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience working with integrations and APIs, including troubleshooting data movement and automation across systems.
  • Track record of independently delivering projects, managing your commitments, and following through without frequent oversight.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems and troubleshooting errors.
  • Clear, proactive communication. You raise blockers early, bring recommendations, and explain technical issues in language that business stakeholders can understand.
  • The ability to learn unfamiliar systems, investigate undocumented behavior, and work effectively in an environment with accumulated technical debt.
  • Proficiency using AI tools to understand Salesforce metadata, configurations, and Flow logic, troubleshoot issues, and build and validate solutions as part of your day-to-day work.
  • Good judgment when priorities compete, including knowing when to investigate further, make a practical fix, or escalate a decision.

Nice to Have:

  • HubSpot administration, particularly Salesforce integration, data synchronization, and alignment between marketing and sales processes.
  • Tray.ai or another integration/iPaaS platform.
  • SQL and Snowflake (or other data warehouse) experience, particularly querying and validating revenue data, investigating data quality issues, and understanding how warehouse data connects to operational systems.
  • Technical problem-solving ability beyond routine configuration. This could come from Apex, another programming language, or substantial experience using AI tools to build, debug, and validate technical solutions. You can explain how your solutions work and verify their reliability.
  • Salesforce architecture improvements, account hierarchies, partner selling processes, or PRM integrations.
  • Systems consolidation, implementations, or integrations following acquisitions.
  • SaaS revenue operations, subscription businesses, or quote-to-cash processes.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or other relevant credentials.
  • Experience working in marketing or as a front line BDR/Sales rep/CS rep

Depth in Salesforce matters most. You do not need experience with every tool in our stack, but you should be comfortable learning how they work together and taking ownership of the resulting solutions.
