We are seeking a Junior People Business Partner (PBP) to support our Production Operations organization. This role is the frontline People team presence for employees-focused on building trust, maintaining a strong pulse on the organization, and serving as the first point of contact for frontline employee relations and day-to-day people matters.

This individual will assess employee concerns, determine appropriate actions, and advise on the application of company policies and practices, while partnering closely with the senior People Business Partner for Production Operations. The role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent execution of People programs and surfacing insights that inform people strategy.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for frontline employees for day-to-day people matters, questions, and concerns
  • Assess and assist in resolving employee relations issues (performance, attendance, conflict) using sound judgment and company policy
  • Build strong relationships across Production Operations to maintain a real-time pulse on employee sentiment and risks
  • Interpret and apply company policies consistently and fairly across a variety of situations
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to frontline managers (L1/L2) on employee concerns, feedback, and basic performance management
  • Conduct fact-finding and recommend appropriate actions aligned with business needs and policy
  • Exercise independent judgment in handling routine matters; escalate complex or high-risk issues as needed
  • Support execution of core People programs (performance cycles, engagement surveys, talent reviews, compensation processes)
  • Identify trends and proactively surface organizational risks or patterns impacting the workforce
  • Partner with the senior PBP to implement solutions and improve team effectiveness and employee experience

 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in People Operations, HR, or a related field
  • Experience supporting employees and/or frontline managers in a fast-paced or operational environment
  • Exposure to employee relations and workplace issue resolution is strongly preferred

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this role include the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, as well as move throughout office and manufacturing environments. Regular walking across a large facility is required. Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment is required.

Work Environment
This role operates across both office and manufacturing environments, requiring regular engagement on the production floor. The position may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and non-climate-controlled conditions. Work may take place in FOD-sensitive areas, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. Appropriate PPE must be worn as required.

Schedule

This role is aligned to Production Operations and follows an early shift schedule of approximately 7:00AM-4PM, Monday through Friday.
Flexibility may be required based on business needs, including occasional earlier start times or extended hours to support employee matters in real time.
