Peak Performance Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist - Mason

Physical Therapist – Mason, MI

Outpatient Orthopedics | Sports Rehabilitation | Dry Needling | Collaborative Care

At Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Mason, our clinic has the feel of a close-knit team serving a close-knit community.

Our patients know our staff, our team works closely together, and there is a strong sense of connection in the way we care for people. We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) who values high-quality outpatient care, strong patient relationships, clinical collaboration, and being part of a supportive team.

The Mason clinic offers a varied outpatient caseload with a strong focus on orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, running-related injuries, balance and gait, and active adult rehabilitation.

What Makes Mason Special

Mason is a community-based clinic with a broad and interesting outpatient caseload.

Our Physical Therapists work alongside an orthopedic Occupational Therapist, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and a more comprehensive approach to patient care.

Our clinicians regularly treat patients with:

  • Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Sports injuries
  • Running-related injuries
  • Post-operative rehabilitation needs
  • Balance and gait concerns
  • Chronic pain
  • Work-related injuries
  • Active adult and recreational athlete needs
  • Return-to-sport and return-to-activity goals
  • Select neurological conditions as part of a varied outpatient caseload

Depending on the patient and clinician's training, treatment may include manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic exercise, progressive strengthening, movement retraining, gait training, and functional rehabilitation.

A Strong Running and Active Lifestyle Culture

Running and movement are naturally part of the culture in Mason.

Our team understands that returning someone to activity often means more than simply reducing pain. It may mean helping a patient return to running, recreational sports, exercise, work, family activities, or simply feeling confident moving again.

For a therapist interested in sports physical therapy, running medicine, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, orthopedic rehabilitation, or active populations, Mason provides an environment where those interests can continue to develop.

At the same time, you do not have to specialize in one area to fit here. The variety of the caseload gives clinicians the opportunity to keep learning and growing across multiple areas of physical therapy.

Our Approach to Physical Therapy

We believe strong outcomes begin with understanding the individual patient.

Our clinicians are encouraged to use their clinical reasoning, ask questions, evaluate the whole picture, and develop individualized plans of care based on the patient's specific goals.

We value:

  • Evidence-informed physical therapy
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Hands-on care when appropriate
  • Progressive exercise and strengthening
  • Patient education
  • Collaboration across disciplines
  • Strong communication
  • Meaningful patient relationships

We want our Physical Therapists to have the opportunity to develop their clinical skills while still enjoying the relationships and teamwork that make a smaller clinic feel personal.

A Team-Oriented Environment

The Mason clinic is a place where people know one another.

Our clinicians, support staff, and patients interact closely, and teamwork is important to how the clinic functions day to day.

We are looking for a therapist who enjoys collaborating, sharing ideas, supporting teammates, and becoming part of the community they serve.

Whether you are a new graduate Physical Therapist looking for mentorship or an experienced PT looking for a supportive outpatient environment, we want you to feel that there is room to develop your own professional path.
