We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apprentice Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Technician, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in the Southern California area using a company truck (Hauling a Scissor lift). In this role you will be loading and unloading trailer, repetitively torquing bolts on our solar module. You will also be responsible for providing ongoing field services support to multiple solar, battery storage (BESS) or other renewable energy systems on a continual/on-demand basis in order to optimize equipment performance, troubleshoot/resolve equipment issues, support emergency repairs and other provide ongoing O&M compliance support.
You will also assist with all routine site inspections, maintenance projects, equipment & system testing, and other project compliance, troubleshoot or restoration matters. Field Service Technicians regularly participate in field support, training and project safety orientations/classes in order to develop skills and technical expertise in one or multiple disciplines This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and attention to detail. Must be 21 years of age.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities : 25% Driving and 75% Torquing
• Torquing and working with senior technicians.
• Safely operate a pickup truck
• Completing and submitting daily Torque reports
• Loading and unloading of the lift
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Inspect lift before and after each trip, reporting any
• maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Knowledge
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge
• Usage of hand tools
• Knowledgeable of traffic laws
Skills
• Experience working in a general labor, doing physical work, or working in a warehouse/production capacity.
• Experience Loading Trucks/Unloading Trucks.
• Experience driving large vehicles, box trucks, and towing trailers.

Effective verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other trades in active work environments
