What you’ll do

• Manage a book of business. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an assigned portfolio of new business and renewal accounts.
• Support term negotiations. You will help package and present submissions to carriers, supporting the broker team through pricing and coverage discussions.
• Leverage AI in practice. You will use and contribute to the development of cutting edge technology, never before seen in wholesale insurance.
• Grow agency relationships. You will build and sustain direct relationships with retail agents and producers, acting as their primary point of contact into the wholesale market.

What you'll need

• Insurance experience. You've been in wholesale or E&S brokerage for 2-5 years and know how to read a submission, an exclusion, and a market's appetite without being told.
• Proper licensing. You hold the necessary licenses for the lines of business you manage.
• Independent judgment. You can carry a book with minimal supervision and make sound placement decisions under pressure.
• Consultative approach. You're a problem solver with a bias for taking a relationship-first approach to sales and service.
• High-volume hustle. You can manage a heavy pipeline and turn around quotes with speed and quality.
• Tech-forward nature. You are energized by being exposed to and adopting new technology in your day-to-day.
• Detail-oriented mindset. You know the difference between fast and sloppy, and always deliver polished work.
• Scrappiness. You roll with the punches, stay resourceful under pressure, and find creative ways to get deals done.
• Travel-readiness. You're comfortable hitting the road to visit agents, attend events, or support new business opportunities.
