About the role

We're looking for a highly organized, people-fi rst Talent and Operations Manager to own how engineers join Rearc and how they land on client work.

This role sits at the intersection of people operations and delivery. You'll work closely with our partners at Databricks and AWS, our enterprise fi nancial services clients, and our own engineering teams to make sure every engineer is onboarded smoothly, kept in the loop, and productive from day one.

You'll also act as the link between the Talent team and the wider business: running Rearc's own onboarding, check-ins and engagement programs, and keeping leadership's calendars and follow-ups on track.

This role is built for someone who thrives on ownership and follow-through. When partner onboarding is busy, it takes priority; in quieter periods, you'll lean further into people operations. As Rearc scales toward 300 to 400 people, you'll play a key part in shaping how this function grows. You'll report to Lindy Lewis, Head of Talent.

What you bring

  • Several years in people operations at a growing company, ideally a tech or consulting business.
  • Experience building onboarding and check-in programs, not just running existing ones.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding or compliance processes across several organizations.
  • Relentless follow-through across 10 or more parallel requests. A task isn't closed until the interview happens or the access works.
  • A working grasp of technical roles and terminology. You don't need to be an engineer.
  • Professional, polished communication with large enterprise clients, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Eligibility for strict financial services compliance checks, including restrictions on personal brokerage accounts and trading.
  • Interest in using AI tools to manage scheduling and workfl ows. We'll train you on ours.

What you'll do

Delivery onboarding and partner coordination

  • Partner onboarding. Coordinate each engineer's onboarding with Databricks and AWS: background checks, screenings, interviews, laptop provisioning and account setup.
  • Client interviews. Send engineer bios to partners, schedule interviews, and chase feedback until there's a clear yes or no.
  • Client onboarding. Manage client onboarding workflows, including multi-week processes with background checks and fi nancial disclosures for fi nancial services clients.
  • Project setup. Confi rm SOWs are signed, timesheet access is in place, and each engineer knows their start date, end date, allocation and contacts.
  • Relationships. Be the main contact for engagement and resource managers at our partners and clients, mostly by email, and on Microsoft Teams for one major client.
  • Read the signals. Notice when a partner or client goes quiet and fl ag possible sales or delivery risks early.

People operations

  • Employee onboarding. Run Rearc's own onboarding for new hires across the US, India, Australia and other regions, through their fi rst 90 days.
  • Check-ins. Run 30, 60 and 90-day check-ins, then regular check-ins after that, and turn what you hear into actions with managers and leadership.
  • Keep engineers informed. Make sure new engineers know where things stand, even when the answer is "we're still waiting."
  • Reviews. Support performance reviews, annual review cycles and performance improvement plans alongside people leaders.
  • Engagement and events. Support the monthly Rearc Spark all-hands, quarterly town halls, the annual virtual Rearc Summit, and customer events such as client dinners, with occasional travel to New York.
  • Executive scheduling. Help manage a co-founder's calendar, including meetings with customer executives.

Your first few weeks at Rearc will be spent in an immersive learning environment where our team will help you get up to speed. Within the first few months, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with a lot of different tools as you find your place on the team.
