About the Team

Financial Integrity team at Rippling is on a mission to safeguard the integrity of every financial transaction across Rippling products. We operate at the intersection of finance and engineering, ensuring that all money movements across Rippling are accurate, compliant and reliable.


The team is structured into four key focus areas:

  • Financial Crime Compliance - Ensure all Rippling financial products meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, maintaining strict adherence to government regulations.
  • Credit Risk - Actively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to fraud activities, credit exposure and financial anomalies across critical products like Payroll , EOR, COR and Spend, etc.
  • KYC & Onboarding - Deliver a secure and seamless onboarding experience through strong KYC (Know Your Customer/Business) compliance and automation, ensuring only verified and trustworthy entities enter our ecosystem.
  • Financial Integration Platform - Build and scale a robust integration platform that connects financial systems, internal products and external partners, enabling secure data exchange, streamlined operations and faster product expansion.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Empower: Build, mentor, and inspire a team of passionate engineers known for taking ownership and driving end-to-end impact.
  • Architect & Execute: Stay hands-on with technical design, code reviews, and system architecture to ensure the delivery of resilient, complex distributed systems.
  • Act Like an Owner: Bring a founder’s mindset to challenge conventional approaches, identify growth opportunities, and define the technical roadmap across Risk and Compliance in close partnership with Product and Business leadership.
  • Raise the Engineering Bar: Enforce engineering best practices, foster a high-performance culture of accountability, and champion automated solutions that boost operational efficiency.
  • Scale for Growth: Build scalable systems and team structures that enable the organization to grow smoothly alongside expanding business demands.

What you will need

We're looking for an Engineering Manager who has a strong technical-foundation, thrives in high-ownership environments and . Key expectations from the role include:

  • Technical Foundation: Candidate should have deep technical hands-on experience and sound understanding of tech and be able to guide and review effectively.
  • Team development skills: Ability to set a roadmap and goals for a team and every one of its members, delegate intelligently, offer engineering advice, deliver frequent and transparent feedback, work with team members to grow in their careers and ensure everyone delivers quality results
  • Product Development Experience: Hands-on experience building scalable products end-to-end. Should have been closely involved in defining and delivering both small and large-scale projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both within India and globally. Strong collaboration and coordination skills are essential.
  • Execution-Driven: Should be execution-oriented with a clear understanding of how to set up roadmaps, define milestones, and drive outcomes.
  • Experience Range: Minimum of 2-3 years in a managerial role and prior experience of 7-8 years as an Individual Contributor. Must have experience leading engineering teams and mentoring engineering with total experience of 8–12 years.
