About the role

Selkirk Sport is expanding its wholesale presence across Australia and New Zealand, and we’re looking for a driven Account Manager to help build and grow our network of retailers, clubs, coaches, and distribution partners.

In this remote role, you’ll develop new B2B relationships, support and grow existing accounts, and identify opportunities to expand Selkirk’s presence throughout the market. You’ll work closely with our Wholesale, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop sales opportunities, support account growth, coordinate product and promotional needs, and provide a high level of follow-through throughout the customer experience.

This role includes participation in Selkirk Sport’s commission program.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new B2B wholesale opportunities across Australia and New Zealand
• Build and grow relationships with specialty retailers, pickleball clubs, coaches, distributors, and other business partners
• Manage and develop a portfolio of wholesale accounts
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling, cross-selling, and expanded product assortments
• Conduct proactive sales outreach through phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Present Selkirk products, programs, promotions, and new opportunities to account decision-makers
• Provide product education, merchandising guidance, and ongoing account support
• Respond to sales inquiries and help resolve account, order, or service-related concerns
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity notes, follow-ups, and sales pipeline information
• Partner with Operations on inventory availability, order status, shipping timelines, and fulfillment needs
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and initiatives that support market and account growth
• Share customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends with internal teams
• Support promotional events, demonstrations, and partner activities as needed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in B2B account management, wholesale sales, or inside sales
• Experience managing customer relationships and developing sales opportunities
• Comfortable conducting sales conversations by phone and through virtual platforms
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, follow-ups, and priorities within a structured sales process
• Experience using a CRM and standard business tools
• Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of sales activity and account follow-through
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team
• Strong attention to detail and consistent documentation habits

Preferred

• Experience supporting wholesale, specialty retail, clubs, coaches, or distributor relationships
• Background in sporting goods, consumer products, or a related industry
• Familiarity with pickleball or the broader sports retail market
• Experience working with accounts across Australia and/or New Zealand
• A track record of meeting sales targets, activity goals, or performance metrics
• Comfort using AI tools and technology to improve sales productivity
