Temporary Youth Programs Lead Coordinator

Location: South Gate, CA
Compensation: $46,000-$50,000 annualized, prorated based on the length of the temporary assignment

About the Role

Sofive is looking for a Temporary Youth Programs Lead Coordinator to support the leadership and day-to-day execution of our Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programs in South Gate.

This role combines coaching, leadership, sales, customer service, and program operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, professional, and passionate about creating a high-quality experience for players, families, and coaches.

The position will play an important role in maintaining program quality, supporting enrollment growth, and ensuring strong day-to-day execution throughout the temporary assignment.

What You’ll Do

Program Growth & Customer Experience

• Support registration growth for Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute.
• Manage and follow up on free trials, open houses, and new customer opportunities.
• Track attendance, revenue, retention, enrollment, and key program goals.
• Build strong relationships with players and families.
• Deliver a professional and consistent customer experience.

Program Operations

• Manage registrations, payments, attendance, scheduling, and program communication.
• Keep equipment, uniforms, and program supplies organized and available.
• Ensure each class and program session is prepared and ready to operate.
• Support facility needs connected to youth programming.
• Help maintain consistent execution of Sofive and program standards.

Coach Leadership

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of youth coaches.
• Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to coaches.
• Set the standard for energy, professionalism, organization, and coaching quality.
• Help manage coach schedules and coverage.
• Lead Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute classes when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for soccer and youth development.
• Coaching, youth programming, or sports leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop coaches.
• Sales, hospitality, or retail experience is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on program needs.
