Vice President of Product

Our Story

TopDog Law is not your typical law firm. We're a nationally scaling personal injury firm built for impact and growth, growing the client experience end-to-end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We believe that world-class marketing, paired with exceptional legal talent and operations, creates better experiences and outcomes for clients and the business alike.

Over the past three years, we've grown 2–3x year over year, setting a new standard on the marketing side of the personal injury space and proving what's possible when strategy, speed, and execution align. Now we're applying that same discipline and innovation to firm operations, case management, and national scale,  intentionally building the infrastructure, systems, and teams to grow without sacrificing quality, culture, or accountability.

We are a fully remote team that share trust, open communication, and a commitment to doing great work. If you love ownership, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel right at home here.

The Opportunity

We're building the technology infrastructure for a nationally scaling personal injury law firm and we need a VP of Product to lead it. This is a greenfield build across three core systems: a custom AI-enabled intake engine to replace Salesforce, a modern case management platform to replace Filevine, and a client-facing portal for case status, messaging, and document sharing. You'll operate as a player-coach, leading a team of Technical Product Managers while staying close to the work, reporting directly to senior leadership, and partnering closely with engineering to ship. If you thrive with high ownership, move fast with imperfect information, and care deeply about building products people love to use, this role is for you.

What You Will Own

Lead a Product Team

  • Directly manage up to 5 Technical Product Managers across multiple product lines
  • Support the growth and success of TPMs by providing coaching and guidance that enables high-quality execution.

Support the Roadmap

  • Help drive quarterly roadmap planning in partnership with the executive team
  • Make fast, defensible tradeoff decisions without waiting for perfect data
  • Ensure every initiative has a clear definition of done and a path to adoption

Stay in the Work

  • Lead by example. Prototype and deliver work alongside your team for the most important feature sets.
  • Maintain strong product intuition and UX taste in the absence of a dedicated design team
  • Review and sharpen the work your TPMs produce, raising the bar across the board

Drive AI-Enabled Product Development

  • Bring prior experience building AI-powered products and tools
  • Champion AI integration across the product suite, from automated intake to intelligent case workflows
  • Stay current on the AI tooling landscape and bring new capabilities to the table

What You Bring

Required:

  • 7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in a product leadership role managing other PMs
  • Proven track record shipping AI-powered or AI-integrated products
  • Strong product intuition and eye for UX
  • Experience driving large-scale platform migrations or greenfield builds
  • Able to move fast and make decisions without perfect data
  • No-ego, team-first leader who makes the people around them better
