At Toyota of Olympia, we’re looking for an experienced Toyota Certified Main Line Technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems accurately, doing the job right, and keeping our customers confidently on the road.

The Opportunity

Put your Toyota experience to work performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across Toyota’s vehicle lineup. This is an opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and wants to continue developing their expertise.

Earning potential of up to $140,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, productivity, and the applicable pay plan.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and other vehicle systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to Toyota specifications and dealership quality standards.
• Complete thorough multipoint inspections, including video documentation that helps customers understand your findings.
• Communicate clear diagnoses, repair recommendations, and time estimates to service advisors.
• Document work accurately and thoroughly on repair orders.
• Verify completed repairs through appropriate testing and road tests.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and care for customer vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Stay current with Toyota training, certifications, and evolving vehicle technology.
• Work collaboratively with advisors, technicians, and shop leadership to deliver a consistent customer experience.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a Toyota technician.
• Current Toyota technician certification.
• Current ASE certifications.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment, technical service information, and repair procedures.
• A dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
• A valid driver’s license.
