Part-Time PIT (Pilates Instructor Training) Growth Marketer

About the role

POSITION: Part-time, 2 days (15.2 hours per week)

SALARY: $77,000 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation

REPORTS TO: Marketing Brand Manager

LOCATION: Remote


We're looking for a PIT Growth Marketer to own the marketing strategy and execution for our Pilates instructor training program. This is a newly created role with real ownership - you'll be building the funnel, running campaigns, managing our CRM, and helping us launch a fully online training product to a national audience.


You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager, Head of Education and our Digital Marketing Manager on paid media. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and hands-on execution,  we need someone who can think at a campaign level and then get in and do the work.


What you'll do

Growth Strategy and Campaigns

  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns for each training intake; online and hybrid
  • Own the lead generation funnel from awareness through to enrolment
  • Develop and implement strategies to reach new audiences beyond our existing studio database; Pilates enthusiasts, career-changers, and interstate students
  • Track and report on campaign performance, cost per lead, and conversion rates

CRM and Email Marketing

  • Own ActiveCampaign setup and ongoing management for the training program
  • Build and maintain lead nurturing sequences, intake automations, and student onboarding flows
  • Manage the leads database segmentation, list health, and re-engagement
  • Write and send EDMs to warm leads, waitlist sign-ups, and past enquirers

Online Training Launch

  • Drive the go-to-market strategy for our fully online accredited training product
  • Build and manage the pre-launch waitlist campaign
  • Work with the team on landing page content, ad creative briefs, and launch sequencing
  • Coordinate across paid media, social content, and email to deliver a cohesive launch

Content and Social 

  • Lead the strategic direction for PIT's Instagram (@upstate_trainings); brief content strategy, approve campaigns, and ensure everything connects to your growth goals
  • Work with our social media coordinator to develop and execute content series 
  • Ensure all content connects to campaign goals and intake windows

Brand Positioning

  • Contribute to the development of PIT's brand positioning as a semi-independent Upstate asset
  • Ensure all marketing output is consistent with the Upstate brand voice and visual identity
  • Help differentiate the program in a growing and competitive market


Qualifications

  •  3+ years in a marketing role, ideally in a consumer brand, fitness, education, or training context
  • Proven experience running lead generation campaigns end-to-end
  • Hands-on CRM experience; ActiveCampaign or similar (HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
  • Strong copywriting skills; you can write an email sequence and a campaign brief without needing a lot of hand-holding
  • Comfortable with Meta Ads at a campaign management level (you don't need to be the specialist, but you need to brief one well)
  • Strategic thinker who can also get into the detail and execute
  • Self-directed -- this is a remote, part-time role and we need someone who manages their own time and priorities well
  • Genuine interest in Pilates, fitness, or the wellness industry is a plus
