Product Manager (Enterprise SaaS and AI)

Who is Vodori?

Vodori is a rapid-growth, Series A SaaS technology company building robust, cloud-based software for life science companies. With a customer base exceeding 100 diversified life sciences companies and a rapidly growing product portfolio, Vodori is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help drive continuous innovation in Vodori’s product portfolio.

Is Vodori the right company for you?

We may be, if you are looking for:

  • a company where the work you do every day makes a difference–a difference for our customers, our growing business and your career;
  • a company whose mission is to transform lives by empowering life sciences companies to bring their vital drugs, vaccines, medical devices and diagnostic solutions to market faster;
  • a company whose culture embraces putting the customer first, being bold and pursuing the unexpected, supporting the team, aspiring to excellence, moving, thinking and acting swiftly and keeping things simple; and
  • a company that embodies its midwestern heritage where respect, trust, transparency and humility are ever present.

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Product Manager for Vodori's Product team who can turn complex customer and business problems into clear, scalable, development-ready product solutions.

At Vodori, AI is already embedded throughout our software development lifecycle to improve efficiency, quality, and the value we deliver. As a member of our Product team, you'll help drive the next wave of process innovation by identifying, evaluating, and implementing practical uses of AI that improve product discovery, requirements management, software delivery, and team effectiveness.

This role balances strategic problem solving with hands-on execution and continuous improvement. One day you may be helping scope a new initiative or working through complex customer problems; the next you may be refining user stories, validating functionality, supporting a release, or testing a new AI-enabled workflow. Success requires someone who enjoys both the big picture and the detailed work required to bring quality software to market—and who is energized by continually finding smarter ways for the team to work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and business goals, ensuring proposed solutions align with stakeholder expectations and long-term product direction.
  • Develop deep expertise in Vodori's products and capabilities, serving as a trusted resource for Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and other internal teams.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers and internal teams to uncover business needs, identify root causes, and define clear, actionable requirements.
  • Draft solution concepts, wireframes, process flows, or workflow diagrams and validate them with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and engineering to evaluate solution options, finalize designs, and ensure all requirements and supporting materials are complete, accurate, and ready for development.
  • Translate features into well-scoped epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
  • Help break large initiatives into logical, incremental deliverables that maximize customer value while supporting efficient development.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, maintain the product backlog in partnership with Product Management, and balance planned and unplanned work to deliver high-quality software within committed timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, business stakeholders, UX, engineering, and customer-facing teams, ensuring alignment throughout discovery, development, release, and support. Resolve questions and remove blockers to keep work moving.
  • Validate completed work against business requirements, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure release-readiness activities comply with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare release notes, documentation, and training materials, and support enablement teams to drive successful customer adoption.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to improve product discovery, requirements management, and delivery processes through AI, automation, and other emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Implementation Consultant, or similar role within a SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business domains, analyze complex business problems, ask thoughtful questions, and translate business needs into clear, actionable software requirements.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed requirements, documentation, and multiple concurrent initiatives. Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, customer-specific problems into scalable product capabilities.
  • Experience facilitating discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and cross-functional stakeholder discussions.
  • Ability to identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and implementation risks before development begins.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS products, ideally in a regulated environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business, UX, and technical audiences.
  • Experience partnering closely with software engineers to clarify requirements, answer implementation questions, and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. Technical or coding experience is not required. You should be comfortable partnering with engineers, asking clarifying questions, and learning enough about the product to effectively translate business needs into software requirements.
  • Expertise writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining Jira backlogs.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise SaaS products or significant product capabilities in an Agile environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to improve business processes, team effectiveness, and product development workflows.

What Makes Someone Successful In This Role?

Successful candidates are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work. They ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and bring structure to ambiguity. They thrive on balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution—whether facilitating discovery, documenting requirements, refining user stories, validating functionality, or partnering with engineers to deliver great software. Success means Engineering can begin work with minimal clarification, functional intent remains intact through delivery, and product decisions or tradeoffs are escalated to the appropriate owner.
