As part of our Agentic Platform team, you'll tackle complex technical challenges that push the boundaries of what AI can do:

• Create AI agents capable of carrying out high-quality multi-turn dialogs with human counterparts to collaborate on complex problem solving
• Establish scientific processes for prompt engineering by leveraging deep knowledge of LLM internals.
• Employ techniques such as distillation and reinforcement learning to create domain-optimized LLMs that unlock advanced reasoning capabilities and reduce hallucinations for nuanced business scenarios.
• Creatively source, design, and augment high-quality datasets to fuel cutting-edge AI initiatives.
• Optimize LLM operations to maximize efficiency and minimize latency for highly interactive applications. 
• Engineer scalable and highly configurable backend services that power intuitive UIs for seamless human-AI collaboration on documents and processes

Who You Are

You're a brilliant engineer with working knowledge of modern AI/ML technologies—from hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Unsloth, vLLM, AI Ops, and open weight LLMs, to staying well-informed on cutting-edge research and literature. You've developed a strong technical vision backed by informed opinions, yet remain curious and adaptable in this rapidly evolving field. You embrace AI daily for your own productivity and are constantly thinking about how to turn technology into compelling product experiences.

Whether you've demonstrated proven success through 5+ years developing advanced AI applications or through academic excellence at a top CS program and standout performance in your cohort—we value intelligence, drive, and work ethic above all.

Our platform tech stack includes (but isn't limited to) Python, Pytorch, Huggingface, Java, Kafka, vector databases, reactive programming frameworks, commercial and open-weight LLMs—though we're just as ready to adopt or invent new tools if the task calls for it.

Our high-velocity team moves fast, thinks big, and constantly pushes the boundaries of what's possible at the frontier of AI technology. We work hard, but maintain a deeply collaborative and fun-loving atmosphere—from virtual lunches and draw battles to cooking classes that bring our distributed team together. While our headquarters is in Redwood City, CA and also have an office in New York City, we operate as a hybrid/remote team across the US.
