About The Role

Clinical Onboarding Support Specialist

A Clinical Onboarding Support Specialist will bridge critical gaps in training coverage and content management, helping to uphold NOCD’s commitment to excellence in therapist development.


Position Summary

A NOCD Clinical Onboarding Support Specialist provides specialty training and advising on OCD and related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities for both onboarding and tenured therapists. The role ensures that clinicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose and treat OCD and anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and to successfully integrate NOCD’s model of care and technology platforms.


Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

  • Serve as live training and clinical advising backup across onboarding cohorts
  • Lead engaging, interactive training and advising sessions that include discussion, role play, and skills practice
  • Deliver training content on OCD, ERP, and NOCD’s model of care with clarity, enthusiasm, and accuracy
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to onboarding therapists via Slack, Zoom, and email
  • Monitor and support assignment completion and performance tracking
  • Ensure all clinical training and advising materials are current across NOCD’s Knowledge Hub, Thinkific, and internal platforms
  • Contribute to curriculum development and revisions based on protocol updates, product changes, and clinician feedback
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, positivity, collaboration, and clinical excellence
  • Present information about OCD, ERP, and NOCD to external organizations/providers

Training Topics Covered

  • Overview of NOCD’s model of care and therapist expectations
  • OCD symptomatology, diagnosis (DSM-5-TR), and subtypes
  • ERP principles, rationale, functional assessments, hierarchy design, response prevention, and implementation
  • Treatment of comorbid and related anxiety disorders
  • NOCD Treatment Protocol: DIAMOND, DOCS/DASS/QLES/WHODAS, treatment planning
  • Member engagement, documentation, metrics, and outcome measurement
  • Risk assessment and support planning
  • Technical navigation of NOCD’s digital tools: NOTO, Slack, Google Calendar, NOCD app

Work Schedule and Time Commitment

  • Hours commitment: 5 clinical hours + 35 training/advising hours per week
  • Available to cover live training shifts:
    • Mon–Thu: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. CST)
    • Fri: 11:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. CST)
  • Available to attend weekly training & advising team meeting at 10:00 EST (9:00 CST) every Monday
  • Available to cover 1:1 and Group CAMs, and Booster Training sessions
  • Training offered 49 of 52 weeks per year

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years as a Therapist with NOCD
  • Met/exceeded NOCD quality metrics for 3 of the past 4 quarters
  • No validated member or management complaints in the last 12 months
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and lead with positivity
  • Strong time management, communication, and project skills
  • Open to schedule flexibility and ongoing leadership auditing of training quality
