Our team

As our Cloud Engineer, you’ll work with our world-class Engineer team. Reporting to our Enterprise Architect, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay and more. We’re a team of A-players who are all-in on solving big, important problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build production-ready infrastructure using AWS across multiple accounts and environments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using IaC, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines (eg. Github Actions)
  • Manage IAM roles and permissions to support secure, least-privilege access across teams
  • Enforce infrastructure policy across teams, applications and environments
  • Support serverless and event-driven applications built with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge
  • Thorough understanding of the SDLC, critical services, deployment processes, and supporting cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years building and operating AWS infrastructure in production across multiple AWS accounts
  • 3-5 years managing IAM roles, permissions, and least-privilege access for engineering and cross-functional teams
  • 2+ years using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Pulumi, Terraform) to manage environments
  • Proficient in automation using Python, Bash, or shell scripting
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools
  • Experience building and maintaining cloud and application observability using services like CloudWatch, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or Sentry (or similar)
  • Experience configuring AWS networking (VPCs, DNS, security groups, routing, gateways)
  • Familiar with cloud cost controls: tagging strategies, AWS Budgets, anomaly detection
  • Understands infrastructure standards enforcement using services like AWS Config, AWS Systems Manager, AWS Security Hub, AWS CloudTrail, or AWS Trusted Advisor across environments

Bonus Points

  • Experience configuring AWS Control Tower, Organizational Units (OUs), and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
  • Familiarity with CIS Controls, SOC 2, or NIST CSF frameworks
  • Exposure to AI infrastructure (e.g. AWS Bedrock, RAG/MCP Server, huggingface, llama.cpp)
  • Experience supporting compliance or secure configuration in regulated environments
