What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

  • Follows guest room preventive maintenance checklist.
  • Completes room preventive maintenance and ensures that on completion the room is clean, and all materials removed.
  • Performs basic repairs including but not limited to replacing light fixtures, repairing grout, caulking, tightening loose toilet seats, performing minor plumbing/electrical repair, painting, or wall repairs.
  • Interacts with guests and addresses guest needs in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Reports any serious maintenance issues, findings, or safety issues immediately to the manager/ supervisor.
  • Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.

What you should bring to the table:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance skills: e.g.: carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, electrical, handyman, HVAC and pool/spa preferred.
  • Proven track record of dependability and reliability.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communication skills.

  • Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
