The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team as the first full time designer. In your day to day, you’ll lead design to collaborate across engineering, product and sales as well as interact regularly with customers and partners.

The Day to Day

• You’ll design products based on customer input and product direction. We have a long backlog of customer product requests and we’re looking for someone to dive in ASAP.
• Prepare pixel perfect designs for our front end team to turn into magical experiences
• Be in charge of UX as well as UI - how the product works but also how it looks
• Incorporate illustrations and animations to make our UI fun in addition to simple
• Build a design strategy and language for Novella from the branding down to every pixel in our product

What We're Looking For

• Experience building web products for SaaS companies. We don’t believe in vain requirements of ~5 years of experience. We’re looking for someone great - if that’s you, apply!
• Mastery of Figma. This is where you’ll spend most of your time.
• Strong portfolio of your work that you can proudly present to our team.
• Experience speaking to customers abroad. This includes being comfortable with English and financial terms you might not be familiar with.
