Harbor IT is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in delivering cutting Cybersecurity, IT, and Cloud Services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Harbor IT is backed by investment firm Worklyn Partners since 2022 and has built a national platform through acquisition and rapid organic growth. Our mission is to manage our clients’ technology and mitigate their cyber risks, so that they don’t have to.
Harbor IT is seeking a Technical Account Manager with deep technical expertise and strong client-facing experience to support our Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as a strategic partner—ensuring seamless technology delivery across the investment lifecycle, from pre-acquisition due diligence through post-close integration and ongoing operational maturity.
This is not a vCIO role. Instead, you will work closely with investment teams, operating partners, and portfolio company leadership to translate business objectives into actionable technology outcomes. You’ll coordinate with internal Harbor IT resources and external stakeholders to drive execution, resolve critical incidents, and ensure high-quality service delivery across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and end-user environments.
The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical depth, executive presence, and Private Equity exposure. You should be comfortable navigating the fast-paced, results-driven expectations of PE firms, while simultaneously building trust and credibility with technical teams inside portfolio companies.
