The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, transforming government innovation while decreasing costs, compressing timelines, and improving outcomes. We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly developing, demonstrating, and assessing prototypes that address various operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL supports technology delivery to the Department of Defense by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.

NSTXL is creating an ecosystem of innovators to collaborate and bring next-generation technologies to the end-user. Our OTAs have over 900 members from corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institutions. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on various topics.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager I to assist with the management of prototype projects and collaborate with the Government teams and our Performers to support post-award execution goals and objectives. Their talents, perspectives, and efforts will directly contribute to project success and facilitate positive mission outcomes. The dedicated PM shall contribute to work standards such as project life cycle, use existing process flows, and comply with documentation practices. They will work closely with our Performer and Government clients to keep all parties informed of prototype status, identify any potential problems, and troubleshoot any project issues.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to meet performance, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between government clients, consortium members, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and assess project risks, help develop and implement mitigation strategies and manage potential project challenges.
• Track and report on project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, providing financial updates and projections to stakeholders.
• Generate and present project reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support initiatives to improve project management practices.
• Attend and support technical and contractual meetings for assigned projects. Review contractual documents that affect cost, schedule, and scope of projects.
• Provide administrative and project support to the Senior Program Manager and other team members as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Project Management or a similar role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
• Eligibility to hold a security clearance.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Government or the Department of Defense (DoD).
• PMP/Scrum/Lean Six-Sigma or other related certifications.
• Experience working with Other Transaction Authorities.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Secret Clearance.
