Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.


Job Description

The Coordinator I, Program Marketing, for NSTXL, is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing full life-cycle marketing campaigns for all NSTXL OTA (Other Transaction Agreements) opportunities. This can include tactics such as website development, solicitation communications, email creation, technical workflows, reporting, and list management.   

  

In addition, this role plays a key part in supporting NSTXL OTA events. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing marketing communications, event logistics, and reporting for various events. These events can include virtual programs, trade shows, and conferences/meetings (in-person, hybrid, or virtual).  

  

This position is a driving force behind marketing strategies that support prominent divisions including the Space Systems Command (SSC) and the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) – Crane Division.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create all communications that support marketing campaigns including emails, community posts, social posts, website pages, ads, etc.    
  • Design creative assets for each opportunity including email banners, social graphics, website design, landing pages, registration forms, etc.    
  • Assist with successful solicitation-specific teaming tools to connect members and prospects with strong technological complementarities.     
  • Set up the technical build for each campaign and help manage the MarTech stack. Technical build includes virtual event set up, email, web pages, list tracking, and market research lists.    
  • Build opportunity target lists from SBIR/GovWin or any other supplemental research 
  • Create direct market outreach (Sequences, DM, Phone Call) to generate opportunity interest and gather survey results, capturing member feedback in HubSpot    
  • Help with customer success by answering all incoming questions from customers and prospects.    
  • Keep tasks updated in Monday.com and assist the Program Marketing leads with their cascaded needs.   
  • Create, manage, and support NSTXL OTA events such as virtual and/or in-person webinars, tradeshows, conferences, industry days, design sprints, 1:1 meetings, Project TALX, Innovator NETWORX, and other customer events.    
  • Attend project-specific events on behalf of NSTXL OTAs to ensure event needs and logistics are met.    
  • Support all marketing tactics as stated in the NSTXL OTA SOWs.    
  • Assist with reporting metrics that will be presented back to government customers.    
  • Make ongoing adjustments to optimize campaigns and a/b test for improved performance.     
  • Engage and build strong relationships with NSTXL members and potential members at NSTXL events.    
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or equivalent education/experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience working in a marketing or communications role.
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic with an unwavering sense of integrity.   
  • Dependable and deadline oriented, with exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and extremely well with others to ensure strong relationships with our internal and external team members.  
  • Technology skills and confidence necessary to learn unfamiliar programs quickly and efficiently is required.    
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, willing to jump in and help when needed on projects.    
  • Ability to take feedback, change direction when needed, and unafraid to ask questions.    
  • Enthusiasm for our mission and vision.   

Preferred Skills/Experience 

  • Knowledge of various marketing technology tools and concepts e.g. marketing automation platforms (HubSpot), CMS (Wordpress), CRM (Salesforce), design (Adobe Creative and Canva), and digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google, Rollworks).
