Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Client Success to lead and manage prototype projects, collaborating closely with Government Agreements Officers, technical experts, and Performers to ensure successful project execution. In this role, you will oversee a team of Project Managers, monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies to achieve program goals. Your efforts will directly contribute to project success and positive mission outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of prototype projects, ensuring alignment with technical objectives, schedules, and budgets within the assigned OT portfolio.
  • Supervise a team of Project Managers, provide guidance, and support new initiatives or procedural updates as directed by the Director.
  • Evaluate project-level risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Prepare and present briefings for internal and external stakeholders, and maintain real-time project updates using specified data entry tools.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with Performers and customer counterparts, providing guidance on day-to-day programmatic issues.
  • Troubleshoot project-level issues and support the resolution of Performer invoicing or payment concerns in coordination with Contracting and Finance teams.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on factors impacting project health for team preparedness.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, and document project status, financial spending, and other key metrics.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience working with Government or the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • PMP, CSM, or Lean Six-Sigma certified.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Ability to assess risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master’s degree or other graduate degree.
  • Experience working with Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs).
  • Strong attention to detail and previous supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering briefs or presentations to high-ranking Government/DoD personnel.
  • Secret clearance.
