We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL supports the delivery of technology to the Department of Defense by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.

 

NSTXL is creating an ecosystem of innovators to collaborate and bring next generation technologies to the end-user. Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.


Job Description

Are you a proactive leader with a passion for driving complex projects to success? We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager II to oversee prototype initiatives and ensure seamless collaboration among Government Agreements Officers, technical teams, and project Performers.


In this key role, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of post-award project execution—from planning and implementation to performance tracking and budget adherence. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills and a strong background in government or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they meet performance, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between government and industry partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and manage risks, track financial performance, and provide updates to key stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and success.
  • Prepare briefings and compile monthly project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement best practices and process enhancements.
  • Lead technical and contractual meetings as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Program Manager as needed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with Government or the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Ability to identify risks, track project progress, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience leading meetings and presenting to stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • PMP, CSM, Lean Six-Sigma certifications.
  • Secret clearance.
