Position Overview

  • The Service Technician will provide scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance / repairs to the Company’s equipment. The Service Technician will build positive relationships with customers and store management. The Service Technician will provide timely communication when the company requires emergency maintenance / repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping and workmanship practices at all times.
  • Assure the dispensing cabinet area and backroom processing area are dry, tidy, and clean upon departure.
  • Provide preventative maintenance: Change filters, UV lamps, batteries, tanks, upgrading equipment.
  • Provide troubleshooting: Reading and reporting pressure gauges and flow meters, detecting leaks, using a multi-meter, performing water sample tests such as TDS and pH.
  • Make repairs: stop leaks, tighten fittings, replace fittings, valves, tubing, electrical wires, and components.
  • Arrive onsite to complete any installations as scheduled.
  • Ensure the system is fully operational.
  • Communicate with store personnel and relay information from the Company.
  • Report and correct any additional conditions that impact the system functionality, equipment serviceability, appearance, and/or customer dispensing experience.
  • Occasional emergency service calls during normal or outside of business hours.
  • Daily communication with all levels of personnel within the company. Communication with customers and vendors on a regular basis by phone or email.
  • All positions at NWS require a background check and a pre-employment drug screening. Production & Warehouse also require a pre-employment physical with a lift test of 65 pounds.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, DOE
  • Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm , 8 paid holidays

Qualifications

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and email for communication.
  • Able to bend, squat, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
  • Must provide your own transportation.
  • Must be 18+; background check required.
  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. Type a minimum of 60 WPM.
  • Basic computer skills, Computer File Management, MS Office programs, QuickBooks, and online shipping.

  • Introductory interviews will be conducted via video conferencing platform.
  • Second interview will be at location.
  • Job offers are contingent on the results from a background check.
