The Role

The Manager of Ticket Sales is responsible for the continued growth and development of the ticket sales department. This role serves as a leader within the organization, overseeing the Account Executives & Inside Sales Representatives. The ideal candidate has a drive for aggressively growing revenue while focusing on managing, training, and leading the sales staff. This position works strategically with internal and external partners to identify opportunities to increase awareness and ticket revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day operations of Business Development Account Executives & Inside Sales Representatives
  • Serve as central member of leadership team focused on selling season tickets, group sales, partial plans, and single game tickets
  • Manage team members on Ticket Sales staff through consistent mentorship conversations, team meetings, and trainings
  • Assist & coach sales representatives on sales pipelines, impending deals, and other revenue generation strategies
  • Evaluate staffing and recruiting needs for new and replacement sales positions
  • Create & manage revenue reports on season tickets, group sales, partial plans, and single game tickets
  • Identify sales opportunities through community engagement and market analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to build, develop and train staff

  • Prior success achieving and surpassing revenue goals
  • Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, revenue-driven environment
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including but not limited to all home games and team events that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
