Boston Legacy FC (the “Club”) is Boston’s new professional women’s soccer team, set to begin play in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2026. The Role

The Integrated Marketing Intern will support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, and in-person platforms. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who’s passionate about sports, storytelling, and teamwork. You’ll collaborate with the marketing, design, and partnerships teams to help develop content, manage creative workflows, and ensure our brand is consistently represented across all touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with copywriting for emails, blog posts and digital ads
  • Gather content and help draft weekly newsletter 
  • Help write and submit creative requests to design team
  • Manage requests from internal departments such as business cards, graphics pack, name tags/credentials, flyers and more 
  • Research trending topics and other team’s/league’s activity to inform campaigns
  • Source photos, videos and graphics for campaigns and promotions
  • Provide logistical support for fan events, giveaways and activations
  • Assist with promotional schedule planning and on-site execution
  • Help coordinate with partners, vendors and influencers (e.g., outreach and follow-up)
  • Organize campaign recaps and maintain marketing documentation
  • Help traffic assets between designers and stakeholders
  • Supports grassroot marketing efforts from the planning to execution stage
  • Assist with content creation across platforms 

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and storytelling.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (social media, email, web, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable testing ideas quickly, iterating on feedback, and making data-driven decisions without waiting for perfection. 
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Thinks outside the box to develop compelling campaigns, content, and strategies. Brings fresh ideas and adapts messaging to resonate with target audiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience with project management or marketing tools (e.g., Lytho, Monday.com, Airtable).
  • Basic understanding of creative software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience creating content for social media or newsletters.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
