About the role

We’re seeking a motivated Inside Sales and Customer Relations Specialist to join our growing operations team. In this role, you’ll combine a solid technical understanding of materials with strong customer service and coordination skills to manage client inquiries, quotations, and order fulfillment. You’ll collaborate with our international supply and logistics teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional customer experience across the entire value chain.

What you'll do

Customer Relationship & Sales Support

  • Serve as the primary contact for client communications — from product inquiries to order tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring a professional and responsive experience.
  • Prepare and manage quotes and order confirmations, ensuring all technical and pricing details are accurate.
  • Proactively recommend suitable materials or alternative options to meet customer requirements.

Technical & Operations Coordination

  • Review and share technical documentation such as datasheets, COAs, and SDS with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, QA, Production, Logistics) and the Global operations team to coordinate order fulfillment.
  • Track shipments and proactively update customers on timelines or potential delays.
  • Support the resolution of product or delivery issues by coordinating with internal teams.

Data, Process, and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM, ERP, and other systems for quotes, invoices, and shipments.
  • Analyze customer feedback and order data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing internal workflows to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or operations within the materials, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, material specifications, and basic lab terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Mandarin is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset.

Traveling may be required.


The pay range for this role is:

24 - 28 USD per hour (Santa Ana )
