About Odyssey
Odyssey is building the Pixar of AI. The most valuable stories in the world—movies, TV shows, and video games—are told with beautiful 3D CGI, and Odyssey is developing AI capable of generating it.
Odyssey is founded by Oliver Cameron (Co-Founder & CEO of self-driving car startup Voyage, which was acquired by Cruise) and Jeff Hawke (Founding Engineer and VP at Wayve and Oxford University PhD in AI), two veterans of self-driving cars and AI. With a team of researchers and engineers recruited from leading AI startups and labs, Odyssey intends to become Hollywood’s AI team.
Odyssey’s investors include GV, DCVC, Air Street Capital, Elad Gil, Garry Tan, Jeff Dean, Kyle Vogt, Soumith Chintala, and leaders from OpenAI, DeepMind, Meta, Midjourney, MGM, and Pixar.
Who You Are
- You’re a staff-level or greater engineer with experience building highly performant ML systems. This includes topics such as inference services, training systems, ML Ops, and model optimization.
- You are passionate about developing the future of visual AI and want to build world leading high performance machine learning systems.
What You’ll Do
- You will develop machine learning software for our production training, ensuring we have efficient software and infrastructure for large scale ML training. You will help optimize our models for training and inference. You will ensure our engineering processes in ML Ops give us high development velocity in experimentation, and the level of robustness necessary for production ML.
