About the Role

Reporting to the CRM team Director, the Solution Architect, Manager leads a team of Solution Architects and client project work. In this role you will develop goals and strategic plans to deliver services to clients and to maximize revenue for the team. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships for continued services. This role is a hybrid of client facing project work and team management. This position will be focused on project work related to our Sales/Service/Revenue cloud (s) and Agentforce.


What You’ll Do

Solution Architect Team Leadership (30%)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of Solution Architects including HR and performance management responsibilities
  • Oversee team enablement and training
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s and provide mentorship and career development opportunities
  • Solution Architects design and implement technical solutions for customers. Responsibilities include:
    • Manage implementation project to successful completion
    • Lead discovery and consulting sessions with customers
    • Develop solution design and technology architecture
    • Document and receive approval on solution design
    • Oversee and participate in build work and quality assurance
    • Conduct solution walkthrough with customers
    • Support customer go live
  • Solution Architects are customer facing


Billable Project Work (50%)

  • Serve as Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) and/or Solution Architect on larger, more complex projects
  • The TSM has overall responsibility for the success of the project and oversees all phases of delivery including Discovery, Build, QA, Deploy and Sign Off.  Responsibilities also include:
    • Provides technical review and approval of solutions to ensure quality and scalability
    • Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget
    • First point of client escalation

Offprem Practice Leadership (20%)

  • Work with VP of Consulting Services and VP of Engineering to improve and standardize client delivery documentation, best practices and project methodology
  • Stay ahead of the latest Sales and Service Cloud releases and product updates
  • Help grow Sales and Service Cloud Practice at Offprem
  • Cooperate with Chief Revenue Officer to lead solutions engineering efforts in pre-sales


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales or Service Cloud, including in a leadership role
  • Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively assess team and individual growth needs, deficiencies, and opportunities
  • Technical proficiency with Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud. Additional industry-specific Cloud (Health Cloud, Financial Cloud, Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud) experience is a plus
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and project management methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and engage with stakeholders at varying levels in both internal and client-facing roles


Certifications:

3-5 of the following Salesforce Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder 
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
