About the Role

We are looking for a strategic Director of Managed Services to lead, scale, and evolve our Managed Services practice. As a Salesforce Partner, our growth depends on moving beyond project-based work into long-term, high-value partnerships.

In this role, you won’t just be "keeping the lights on" for clients; you will be the primary leader of our recurring revenue strategy. You will oversee service delivery, lead a cross-cloud team of consultants, establish and refine managed services methodology, and work closely with Sales to hunt and close new managed services contracts.


What You’ll Do

Team Leadership (30%)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of Consultants, including HR and performance management
  • Oversee team enablement and training
  • Conduct weekly 1-1s and provide mentorship and career development opportunities
  • Act as the executive escalation point. Build deep relationships with stakeholders to ensure high CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) and identify natural opportunities for account expansion through demonstrated value.
  • Build a team of "Consultant-Advisors." Train technical staff on how to communicate business impact, manage client expectations, and identify "big picture" improvements.


Billable Project Work (50%)

  • Serve as Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) and/or Solution Architect on larger, more complex projects
  • The TSM has overall responsibility for the success of the project and oversees all phases of delivery including Discovery, Build, QA, Deploy and Sign Off.  Responsibilities also include:
    • Provides technical review and approval of solutions to ensure quality and scalability
    • Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget
    • First point of client escalation
  • Lead "Continuous Innovation" sessions with clients. Move beyond reactive ticketing to provide proactive roadmaps that align Salesforce capabilities with the client's long-term business strategy.


Offprem Practice Leadership (20%)

  • Work with VP of Consulting Services to improve and standardize client delivery documentation, best practices and project methodology
  • Own the end-to-end service delivery lifecycle. Define and refine our methodology for sprint planning, release management, and platform governance.
  • Stay ahead of the latest Salesforce releases and product updates
  • Help grow Managed Services practice and portfolio at Offprem
  • Design service offerings that balance technical debt remediation with new feature enhancement. Ensure the team is delivering high-quality, scalable solutions and configuration.
  • Cooperate with Chief Revenue Officer and Customer Account Manager team to lead solutions engineering efforts in pre-sales and grow the book of business annually


Requirements

  • The Consultant Mindset: 7+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem with a heavy emphasis on solution architecture and client-facing advisory roles.
  • Delivery Leadership: Proven experience managing complex, multi-stream delivery teams in a boutique or global consultancy.
  • Operational Deep-Dive: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and PMO tools (Jira, FinancialForce/Certinia, or Mavenlink).
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate "Salesforce-speak" into "Business-speak" for C-suite executives.
  • Certifications: At least one Consultant-level certification (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud) and preferably a Salesforce Architecture certification.
