Position Overview

Omari Construction is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Superintendent to support field operations across active job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional seeking flexible hours while contributing to high-quality project execution.

You will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to help maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards on-site.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in supervising daily jobsite activities to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and field operations to support project schedules
• Conduct site walks, maintain daily logs, and help track progress
• Identify and help resolve field issues in a timely manner
• Support safety compliance and enforce OSHA and company standards
• Assist with punch lists, project closeout, and turnover documentation
• Communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, and project leadership

What You Bring

• 3–8 years of construction experience (commercial or residential)
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination
• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on-site (standing/walking for extended periods)
