About the role

  • The Support Specialist is a critical executional role focused on providing foundational support for client success across various digital marketing channels–Google Search, Shopping, PMAX, YouTube, Display and more. This position is designed for rapid learning and building essential skills in digital marketing operations and client support. Reporting to senior team members, the Support Specialist will assist with day-to-day campaign support, monitoring, and performance tasks, contributing to the overall strategic goals for our clients.


What you'll do


Foundational Campaign Support & Execution

  • Assist with campaign buildouts, asset collection, and structural organization.
  • Help with core execution tasks such as keyword list building and basic audience setup across paid channels.
  • Perform routine account health checks and maintenance under the direction of senior specialists
  • Contribute to ad copy development and content organization.

Monitoring & Reporting Assistance

  • Support Lead Specialists with daily and weekly campaign monitoring and data collection.
  • Assist in preparing and manipulating performance reports for internal and client-facing use.
  • Help with report formatting and surfacing key highlights or trends for review.
  • Flag performance anomalies, disapprovals, or budget issues to senior team members promptly.

Research & Learning

  • Conduct basic competitive research and platform investigation to inform campaign execution.
  • Assist with researching platform updates and new feature rollouts across digital marketing channels (paid media, SEO, etc.).
  • Maintain documentation of campaign setup details, naming conventions, and performance benchmarks.

Success & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance & Delivery

  • Maintain high Quality Assurance (QA) standards through regular account audits (e.g., monthly light-touch audits).
  • Achieve an agreed-upon target for billable hours per week, demonstrating productive time management.
  • Contribute to platform execution that supports client-specific growth and efficiency metrics.


Client / Stakeholder Impact

  • Build a strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and how daily platform activity impacts them.
  • Prepare accurate and insightful reports for senior specialists ahead of internal and client meetings.
  • Contribute to a high standard of client satisfaction and retention through reliable execution.


Growth & Development

  • Actively progress through assigned professional training programs and obtain relevant platform certifications.
  • Dedicate time monthly to professional development (e.g., tool training, new features).
  • Show continuous improvement in performance and knowledge over time.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Foundational

  • Basic understanding of core digital marketing channels, including Google Ads–Google Search, Shopping, PMAX, YouTube, Display–social media marketing and SEO principles.
  • Familiarity with basic functions in analytics tools (e.g., GA4) and reporting software (e.g., Google Sheets/Excel).

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized with a strong ability to follow direction closely and execute tasks with precision.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills; able to meet commitments and work effectively within a shared workflow.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize tasks, flag issues, and report progress effectively.
  • Initiative in training; a proactive approach to asking questions and seeking feedback.


Preferred Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing support or execution.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., ClickUp or similar).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and learning-focused environment.

Starting Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year. The final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience level, with room for advancement.
