Earning Potential: High performers in this role can expect to earn $65,000 – $150,000+ annually through a combination of base salary and uncapped commission. Your results determine your rewards.


Job Summary: 

 

The Territory Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and project success within an assigned geographic region. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading projects from discovery through execution. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships that align with On Point Solutions’ values and strategic goals. This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver customer-focused outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Champion and uphold the corporate mission, values, and growth objectives of On Point Solutions. 
  • Lead business development efforts by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities within your assigned sales region. 
  • Manage customer accounts and oversee successful project execution from initiation to close. 
  • Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales goals as defined by company leadership. 
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities by strategically penetrating your territory. 
  • Design and implement a comprehensive prospecting strategy focused on high-potential customers and solution-based selling. 
  • Build long-term, value-based customer relationships within targeted industries through consultative engagement. 
  • Own the project lifecycle within your region — from sourcing to closing — ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. 
  • Represent On Point Solutions and its business partners with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and effort. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental or organizational objectives

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, or capital equipment. 
  • Proven track record of territory management and sales growth. 
  • Experience working with or managing dealer or distributor networks preferred. 
  • Familiarity with laser cutting, metal fabrication, or machine tool industries is a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region (up to 75-100%). 

  

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset. 
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across diverse audiences. 
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate dealers and partners to achieve goals. 
  • Capable of identifying new market opportunities and converting leads into sales. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to adapt strategy based on market trends and competition. 
  • Proficiency with CRM software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Highly organized with strong territory planning and time management skills. 
  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 
  • Commitment to upholding company core values and representing the brand with integrity. 

 
Additional Requirements


  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. 
  • Must be able to lift and transport marketing materials or small equipment (up to 40 lbs). 
  • Comfortable with working from a home office and maintaining consistent communication with internal teams.
  • Willingness to attend industry trade shows, customer events, and dealer training sessions, as needed. 
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory; occasional overnight travel may be required (role specific).  
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer and dealer schedules across time zones (role specific).
  • Familiarity with sales pipeline tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ability to maintain accurate records (role specific).


Working Conditions


This role supports a collaborative, fast-paced work environment across remote, field, and technical settings. For positions that allow it, we operate as a remote-first company, encouraging flexibility and digital connection. Field sales and service roles involve regular travel, independent decision-making, and direct interaction with machinery or customers. Some positions may require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely navigate to industrial or outdoor sites.
