About the role

DNE Laser USA is seeking a driven and relationship-focused sales professional to join our team. This role is responsible for growing territory sales by developing and supporting a robust dealer network, cultivating key customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Sales to meet and exceed sales targets while upholding the mission, vision, and core values of DNE Laser USA. This position requires regular travel within the assigned territory to build connections, close deals, and represent our brand with integrity and excellence. What you'll do

  • Champion and actively promote DNE Laser USA’s mission, vision, and core values while representing the company and its manufacturing partners with professionalism, credibility, and integrity in all customer and dealer interactions.
  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and market share targets across the territory.
  • Develop and implement a structured territory growth plan, including prospecting strategy, vertical market focus, and account prioritization.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through direct customer engagement, lead development, and coordinated dealer activity.
  • Travel extensively throughout the territory to conduct sales calls, facility visits, equipment demonstrations, trade shows, and customer presentations.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for major accounts within the region, managing the full sales cycle from discovery and application review through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop authorized dealers to effectively represent DNE Laser USA equipment, sales processes, and value proposition.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance guidance to dealers, including joint sales calls, pipeline reviews, opportunity strategy, and closing support.
  • Evaluate dealer performance against expectations and implement corrective actions, development plans, or territory adjustments as necessary.
  • Strengthen and expand the dealer network by identifying, qualifying, and establishing new distribution partners in underserved markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, manufacturing partners, and internal departments including applications, service, parts, and operations.
  • Collaborate with applications engineering to properly qualify customer applications and ensure equipment solutions meet technical and production requirements.
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals consistent with company guidelines, ensuring both competitiveness and margin protection.
  • Maintain and manage an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and opportunity tracking within the company CRM system.
  • Provide timely reporting on sales activity, market conditions, and regional performance to the Director of Sales.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs and provide actionable feedback to leadership to improve product positioning and sales strategy.
  • Support regional and national marketing initiatives, including trade shows, open houses, dealer events, and customer demonstrations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and ethical sales practices in all transactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing technology, or capital equipment. 
  • Proven track record of territory management and sales growth. 
  • Experience working with or managing dealer or distributor networks preferred. 
  • Familiarity with laser cutting, metal fabrication, or machine tool industries is a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region (up to 75-100%).

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across diverse audiences. 
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate dealers and partners to achieve goals. 
  • Capable of identifying new market opportunities and converting leads into sales. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to adapt strategy based on market trends and competition. 
  • Proficiency with CRM software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Highly organized with strong territory planning and time management skills. 
  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 
  • Commitment to upholding company core values and representing the brand with integrity. 

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. 
  • Must be able to lift and transport marketing materials or small equipment (up to 40 lbs). 
  • Comfortable with working from a home office and maintaining consistent communication with internal teams.
  • Willingness to attend industry trade shows, customer events, and dealer training sessions, as needed. 
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory; occasional overnight travel may be required (role specific).  
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer and dealer schedules across time zones (role specific).
  • Familiarity with sales pipeline tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ability to maintain accurate records (role specific).

Working Conditions

This role supports a collaborative, fast-paced work environment across remote, field, and technical settings. For positions that allow it, we operate as a remote-first company, encouraging flexibility and digital connection. Field sales and service roles involve regular travel, independent decision-making, and direct interaction with machinery or customers. Some positions may require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely navigate to industrial or outdoor sites.
