Photographers are responsible for capturing our events through the camera lense. Photographers are responsible for shooting photos of each dance that crosses our stage using the provided stationary Canon DSLR camera. Additional responsibilities include marking stand out dances for the Content Producer to sort through and send to our Social Media Coordinator. Photographers are also responsible for setting up and controlling the lightning software during events. 

Responsibilities of this position include: 

• Set-up of photo equipment. 
• Set-up of stage lighting.
• Capture photos of every dance. 
• Photograph special moments that occur at our events such as master classes and our awards. ceremonies, when applicable. 
• Toggle between lighting cues for when a dance performs, in-between dances, and for award ceremonies. 
• Provide Content Producer with a list of standout entries for great social media photos. 
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of shot & framing composition and color balance to capture a visually pleasing photo. 
• Breakdown photo and lighting equipment after the event has concluded. 
• Comply with all policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook. 
• Adhere to all other duties as assigned by event director or designee.
