Tabulator - 2026 Dance Competition Tour Team

It is the responsibility of the tabulator to keep the show running smoothly by maintaining the performance order as per the stage manager's' instructions, while also communicating any changes to the audio technician. It is up to the tabulator to ensure that scores are accurately recorded for every entry within the scoring system. Tabulators will also serve as the primary communicators to the judges during each event. If and when a break is taken during the session, the tabulator will need to communicate with the team to ensure that they are in position, prior to starting the show up again.    


Responsibilities of this position include:  

  1. Set-up scoring equipment.  
  1. Maintain the order of performances, as per stage manager's instruction.  
  1. Communicate with the sound technician, stage managers and judges during each event, in addition to the photo/video team.  
  1. Ensure scores are recorded, accurate and complete for each entry.  
  1. Ensure judge's critique files are correctly saved and backed up during the event.    
  1. Monitor scoring data for consistency and alter the management of outliers.  
  1. Monitor judge’s numerical scores for statistical consistency and alert management as necessary.  
  1. Assist in preparing and organizing awards for ceremonies, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality 
  1. Breakdown scoring equipment after the event has concluded.  
  1. Attend mandatory training sessions.  
  1. Comply with all policies and procedures listed in your employee handbook. 
  1. Adhere to other duties assigned by the event director(s) or designee. 


Qualifications: 

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work weekends (Thursday–Monday) and travel from January–June. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Comfortable working in dynamic and fast-paced environments. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting event needs. 

The pay range for this role is:

200 - 305 USD per day (Remote)
