We are a growing family of brands dedicated to creating the best experience possible for our dancers, teachers, and attendees. Our brands currently include Beyond the Stars, Groove, Breakout, and Reverb! Collectively, we host over 200 regional dance competitions, 8 national finals, and 13 fall dance conventions per season. About the role

  • As a Convention Faculty Member, you will play a key role in shaping the experience of dancers attending our events. You’ll be joining a passionate team of educators dedicated to inspiring and developing dancers of all ages and skill levels. Faculty members are expected to go above and beyond to make each convention memorable for the dancers that attend.

What you'll do

  • Teach at least two convention classes per event – one for the 12 & Under age group and one for the 13 & Over group.
  • If a Mini Room class is required, you will be notified at least two weeks prior to the convention date.
  • Provide age-appropriate, engaging, and fun material tailored to the level and ability of each group, adapting where necessary depending on the class makeup.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every dancer leaves feeling motivated and inspired.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and our event tour team to uphold the high standards and mission of OneBeat Dance Brands.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a convention or workshop setting.
  • The ability to effectively command a room, adapting your teaching style to various age groups and skill levels.
  • A deep passion for dance and education, with a commitment to helping dancers grow both technically and artistically.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and motivate dancers.
