Job Brief:

The Finance Department Team Member will assist with administrative, clerical, and financial support tasks to

ensure smooth daily operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, assisting with compliance

efforts, and supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for accounts payable and receivable processes, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as sorting mail, filing documents, and scanning records.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks, including maintaining state unemployment and
  • withholding account registrations.
  • Review receipts for proper allocation and accuracy.
  • Help compile reports and maintain documentation for company insurance policies.
  • Support music licensing and trademark compliance efforts.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with any charitable donation coordination.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in finance or accounting are a plus.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with office software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dance competition background and/ or knowledge is a plus.

 

 

On-the-Road Job Brief: The specific functions of an Assistant Director’s role while on-the-road will cover a wide scope of activities.  This is because all events are not and will never be the same.  During the regional, national, and convention seasons you will be scheduled to work pre-determined events.  During weekends off the above-mentioned season, you will be on-call to assist the Tour Team and other Leadership Team Members as needed. 

Responsibilities of the on-the-road position include but are not limited to: 

  • Monitor the progress of the execution of each task that has to do with the event while at the event. 
  • During the event serves as link between clients, dancers, parents, Tour Team members, venue  representatives and vendors. 
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients and venue. 
  • Supervise set-up and breakdown of events, as well as assist and supervise the Tour Team. 
  • Ensure that Tour Team and Faculty adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Tour Team Handbook. 
  • The ability to be an on-stage emceeing is a plus. 
  • Always Maintaining OneBeat standards. 
  • All other duties as assigned or designated.
