Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and results-oriented Demand Generation Marketing Lead to own and execute our demand generation and lead generation strategy as an Individual Contributor (IC) within the marketing department. This role will drive a wide range of initiatives—including email campaigns, social media (with a focus on LinkedIn), PR and branding, thought leadership, podcasts, event marketing, SEM, content marketing, and lead nurturing programs—to generate pipeline growth and meet revenue goals. You’ll coordinate with sales, product marketing, and creative teams, leveraging support from within the marketing department to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand & Lead Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic strategy to drive demand and lead generation, meeting pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Multi-Channel Campaigns: Coordinate and execute campaigns across email, social media (especially LinkedIn), SEM (e.g., Google Ads), content marketing, and event marketing.
  • PR & Branding: Collaborate with PR teams or external agencies to enhance brand visibility and positioning through media outreach and storytelling.
  • Thought Leadership & Podcasts: Create and promote thought leadership content, including articles, whitepapers, and podcasts, to establish authority and engage target audiences.
  • Event Marketing: Plan and execute virtual and in-person events (e.g., webinars, trade shows) to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
  • Lead Nurturing Programs: Design and manage lead nurturing workflows using email marketing and marketing automation tools to convert prospects into qualified leads.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and optimize campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Salesforce, or similar platforms, taking full accountability for results.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales to ensure that marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) transition to sales-qualified leads (SQLs), refining lead scoring and follow-up processes.
  • Content Development: Work with content teams to produce compelling assets (e.g., blogs, case studies, landing pages) that support demand gen and branding goals.
  • Technology & Tools: Leverage marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and social media tools to streamline efforts.
  • Budget Oversight: Optimize the demand gen budget in coordination with leadership to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B demand generation, lead generation, and digital marketing experience in an IC or coordinator role.
  • Expertise: Proven success in executing multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, SEM, events, etc.) that drive measurable lead and revenue growth.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, social media tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Hands-on experience with PR, branding, thought leadership, podcast production, event marketing, and lead-nurturing programs.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners (e.g., agencies) without managing direct reports.
  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven with expertise in using KPIs and metrics to measure success and optimize campaigns.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
  • Required Skills: Experience in B2B SaaS, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), or SEM or social media marketing certifications.
