Job Duty Summary

• Patrolling buildings, facilities, and perimeters of assigned sites
• Investigating suspicious or unusual activities and disturbances
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence
• Authorizing the entrance of employees, visitors, and vehicles, ensuring that credentials are in order
• Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems
• Protecting assets
• Contacting appropriate services, such as the police and the fire department, in cases of emergency

Position Type and Hours

• This is a full-time, hourly position and is eligible for overtime pay.
• Working hours and days will vary depending on the company's operational needs.
• Nights and weekends will be required as a standard shift period. Must be available to work on holidays.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A clean driving record with fewer than 4 points
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass the company’s introductory training courses
• Must own a smartphone, preferably with an NFC reader
• Must be able to pass a basic criminal background check (CORI)
• Must be able to pass a drug test at the time of hire and periodically
• Must have a Massachusetts driver’s license.

The pay range for this role is:

17 - 20 USD per hour
