The Delivery Consultant is a key member of the Canadian Delivery Services Team focusing on Cloud and Virtualization solutions. The Delivery Consultant works closely with local Sales and Delivery teams to plan, design and implement various industry-recognized Cloud and Virtualization solutions for clients using a mix of these technologies.

Virtualization -- VMware, Nutanix, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft - Office 365 Migration, AzureStack Storage - Storage replication and data protection technologies such as Zerto, Veeam and Commvault.


Essential Functions:

  • Play a key role in technology assessments and discovery
  • Assist in recommending, seeking approval, and sign-off of proposed solutions
  • Design, develop, and implement proposed solutions


Education

Four years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


Experience

3-6 Years


Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong Information Technology background encompassing experience in Consulting, Architecting, Design, Deployment of varied Cloud Solutions, Virtualization and Storage related products or services is required
  • Strong English communication skills -- both written and spoken are essential
  • Those having strong organizational and interpersonal skills plus a demonstrated effectiveness in customer-facing roles are ideal
  • Strong presentation technical skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with account teams and partner organizations
  • Assessment, discovery, design and delivery experience is essential
  • Ability to apply knowledge of various industry-recognized Cloud architecture and sound technology architecture principles to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions
  • Requires a strong technical background in industry standard (x86) servers, storage and networking technologies deployed as part of virtualized solutions.
  • Vendor experience with providers such as HP, IBM, and Cisco products considered an asset
  • Compelling communication skills across a wide variety of mediums and situations - including written and verbal communication and in presentations spanning formal and informal, from small to large audience
  • Experience creating Statements of Work, proposal responses, and related documentation considered an asset
  • Experience with workload migration projects, such as Cloud migration, VMware upgrades and O365 Migrations considered an asset


Travel and Work Environment:

This position is remote but requires approximately 25% travel annually within Canada.
