· Set up and operate MT equipment, ensuring correct magnetization technique, current levels, and part orientation.
· Prepare parts for inspection, including cleaning, surface preparation, and post-inspection demagnetization.
· Identify, mark, and document all relevant and non-relevant indications.
· Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and digital traceability within the QMS.
· Ensure MT equipment calibration, daily checks, and system performance verifications are completed and recorded.
· Report discrepancies immediately to the QC Supervisor or Quality Engineer.
· Dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges, and other metrology tools.

· Experience performing horizontal wet bench MT in a manufacturing environment—preferably metals or defense.
· Experience working under an ISO 9001 or defense-contract manufacturing system.
· Familiarity with Rockwell hardness testing, gauges, and general QC practices.
· Basic knowledge of defect types, discontinuities, and material behaviors (e.g., steels, stainless, titanium).
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and handle parts, tools, and inspection equipment.
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual handling of machined or fabricated components.
· Work performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to oils, magnetic fields, noise, and cleaning agents.
· Use of PPE as required (gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
· Attention to Detail: Ability to detect small surface discontinuities and follow precise procedures.
· Integrity & Compliance: Strong adherence to inspection standards and quality requirements.
· Technical Aptitude: Comfortable operating MT equipment and metrology tools.
· Teamwork: Works collaboratively with QC inspectors, production, and engineering.
