About the role
- As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated Company Administrator to join our team. Our offices are located in Champaign, IL.
- A successful candidate will work closely with the CFO to manage day-to-day aspects of the company’s internal operations, including finance, IT, and HR.
- This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the smooth running of the company. You will support various administrative tasks across different departments, providing essential help to ensure our operations run efficiently.
- This role can be full or part time.
What you'll do
Finance:
- Assist in processing invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Help track and organize financial documents and records.
- Support with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Human Resources (HR):
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including organizing documentation and arranging orientation schedules.
- Help maintain employee records and ensure all HR paperwork is up to date.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating employee training sessions or meetings.
- Help monitor and manage employee leave requests and attendance records.
Information Technology (IT):
- Support with basic IT troubleshooting and user support for staff.
- Help track and manage office equipment, such as computers and software licenses.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s digital tools and platforms.
- Liaise with external IT support as needed for technical issues or upgrades.
General Administrative Support:
- Help organize company events, meetings, and internal communications.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist with various ad-hoc administrative tasks as requested by senior staff.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred, previous experience in an administrative or junior office support role is a plus but not essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
