Account Executive

Amberflo is transforming how companies charge for their products and services by making it easy to track and bill on usage. Amberflo provides a modern, highly scalable Usage Metering and Billing Platform to build and track usage based pricing plans.


Companies, big and small,  are shifting to Usage-Based Pricing and Billing to realize higher renewal rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue. Customers, like Equinix, LaunchDarkly, Firebolt.io and others use Amberflo to delight customers with realtime, accurate and on demand metered invoicing and billing.


Amberflo was founded in 2020 by former AWS technologists who built and scaled cloud services on the backs of Usage-Based Pricing (UBP) and Product-Led Growth (PLG). Headquartered in the Bay Area with employees around the world, Amberflo raised $20M Series A led by Norwest Venture Partners.

About the role

We are searching for our first Account Executive to drive the adoption of our turnkey metering and billing solution.  You will work closely with our Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams, respond to inbound inquiries and conduct outbound sales efforts to potential customers.

To succeed in this role you have experience as an Account Executive, during which you have prospected into Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.

What you'll do

  • Reach out to prospective customers via phone and email
  • Respond to inbound inquiries for our turnkey metering and billing solution 
  • Set up and conduct discovery calls with inbound leads
  • Demo the Amberflo solution and respond to customer questions about features, functionality, and terms of agreement
  • Manage customer engagement process from discovery to deal close

Qualifications

  • Prior experience and proven track record as an AE selling into enterprises
  • Proven ability to connect with people using telephone, email and online networking sites
  • Engage with CXO level buyers and decision makers, articulate ROI, and drive deals toward closure.
  • The ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and articulate them effectively to prospects
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a positive, self-starter attitude
  • Self starter, with attention to detail, strong organizational skills and an absolute focus on quality of work
