About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of ETF Sales & Distribution to lead and drive the growth of the ETFs on our platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of the sales team, managing the sales team, hiring new sales people, expanding our distribution channels, and building strong relationships with institutional and retail clients.
What you'll do
- Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the Office of the CEO to create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive the growth of our funds.
- Team Recruiting & Leadership: Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Sales Execution: Lead and drive the growth of the ETFs on our platform by developing relationships with allocators and ultimately raising assets on behalf of our clients.
- Distribution Expansion: Identify and establish new distribution channels, including partnerships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and other key market players.
- Client Relationships: Work closely with our Client Success team to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with Tidal's value proposition.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and investment teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in ETF sales, distribution, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing successful Asset Management sales teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ETF market, including regulatory frameworks, product structures, and distribution networks.
- Relationships: Strong network of contacts within the financial advisory, broker-dealer, and institutional investor communities.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a remote-first, dynamic environment, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
Tidal is largely a remote company but the ideal candidate would be central to the greater Chicagoland area.
