SVP of ETF Sales & Distribution Support

About the role

This is not your traditional sales or wholesaler role. As Senior Vice President of ETF Sales & Distribution Support, you will be the trusted guide and strategic partner for institutional clients, particularly those entering the ETF space for the first time. Your mission is to de-risk and accelerate their ETF journey for our clients, acting as an embedded extension of their own sales teams.

This role requires a self-starter with deep ETF sales expertise, particularly in national accounts and gatekeeper relationships. You will work consultatively, leveraging your understanding of ETF distribution opportunities and challenges, compensation models, institutional engagement strategies to position Tidal’s clients for growth

What you'll do

  • National Accounts & Gatekeeper Relationships: Develop and maintain deep relationships with wire houses, broker-dealers, platforms, and key decision-makers.
  • Strategic Consulting & Client Navigation: Serve as the ETF training wheels for institutional clients, helping them seamlessly transition from traditional fund structures into ETFs.
  • Institutional SalesSupport: Guide clients through the ETF sales process, helping them craft distribution strategies that resonate with RIAs, institutional investors, and financial advisors.
  • Compensation Model & Distribution Expertise: Educate new entrants on how to structure internal and external sales incentives to drive ETF adoption.
  • Collaboration with ETF Experts: Leverage Tidal’s industry-leading ETF expertise to ensure clients are fully equipped for long-term success.
  • Market Leadership & Evangelism: Represent Tidal and Tidal’s clients at industry events, panels, and conferences, reinforcing our position as the ETF Masters.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of ETF or asset management sales experience, with a focus on national accounts, gatekeeper relationships and institutional distribution.
  • Proven track record of success in ETF sales, distribution strategy, and consultative client engagement.
  • Deep understanding of compensation structures, platform approvals, and distribution hurdles for ETFs.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to operate independently, drive new business, and establish Tidal as the premier ETF partner in the industry.
