About the role

Tidal Financial Group is seeking a Marketing Co-Op to support our growing marketing and brand function. This role is designed for a highly motivated student interested in brand strategy, marketing execution, and financial services storytelling. 


The Brand Marketing Co-Op will work closely with the Brand & Marketing team and gain exposure to brand strategy, campaign development, content creation, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on role with increasing responsibility and visibility, including opportunities to support senior leadership initiatives. 

This role is ideal for a student interested in a future career in brand marketing, product marketing, or strategic marketing within financial services or fintech. 

What you'll do

Brand & Marketing Support 

  • Support day-to-day execution of brand and marketing initiatives across digital, content, and campaign channels 
  • Assist with maintaining brand consistency across materials, presentations, and communications 

Content & Communications 

  • Assist in drafting and editing marketing content, including website updates, social media posts, internal communications, and thought leadership materials 
  • Support content planning and coordination across teams and external partners 

Campaign & Project Coordination 

  • Help manage timelines, assets, and deliverables for marketing campaigns and initiatives 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Brand, Biz Dev, Product, CSM) to support integrated marketing efforts 

Research & Insights 

  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to support brand positioning and campaign strategy 
  • Help synthesize insights into clear summaries or recommendations for the marketing team 

Analytics & Reporting 

  • Assist with tracking and reporting on marketing performance metrics (e.g., campaign engagement, content performance) 
  • Support preparation of internal updates and executive-ready summaries 

Operational & Administrative Support 

  • Assist with organizing marketing assets, managing documentation, and maintaining marketing calendars

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Northeastern University co-op program, preferably studying Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or a related field 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Interest in brand marketing, strategy, and financial services 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with design or marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) is a plus 
  • Previous marketing, communications, or internship experience is a plus but not required

The pay range for this role is:

30 - 34 USD per hour (Remote (United States))
