As a Provider Contracting Professional, you will be at the front lines of OpenNetworks’ growth strategy, engaging provider groups through outreach efforts. This role is ideal for a high-energy, motivated professional with experience in provider contracting.
This is a 1099/consulting position with the possibility of conversion to full time
Responsibilities:
- Perform provider outreach: Initiate and manage outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to recruit healthcare providers into our network.
- Pitch OpenNetworks: Clearly articulate the value proposition to providers and negotiate contract terms with decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close contracts: Lead efforts starting with initial contact, through negotiation, and ending with signed agreements.
- Pipeline management: Track leads, manage follow-ups, and report progress in CRM tools.
- Market research: Identify and target key provider groups that align with OpenNetworks' expansion strategy.
- Collaborate internally: Work closely with leadership and operations to refine messaging, overcome objections, and drive provider sign-ups.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or provider contracting
- Relentless drive: A hunter mentality with the ability to cold-call, handle objections, and close deals.
- Startup DNA: Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where adaptability and initiative are key.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to engage, persuade, and build relationships over the phone and email.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare provider networks or willingness to learn quickly.
- Tech-savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems, email automation, and basic sales tools.
